Repairs set to Begin on Five US-95 Bridges North of New Meadows

GRANGEVILLE, ID – The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) will begin repairs this Wednesday on five bridges along U.S. Highway 95 between New Meadows and Pollock. Each bridge will undergo about a week’s worth of construction, though crews may work on multiple sites simultaneously.

The project includes repairs on the Goose Creek West Bridge, Goose Creek East Bridge, Little Salmon River Bridge, Boulder Creek Bridge, and Fall Creek Bridge. Work begins this week at the Goose Creek West Bridge.

Drivers should expect daytime construction, reduced speed limits, and single-lane traffic with flaggers or temporary signals in work zones.

Bridge repairs will include patching concrete, replacing expansion joints, improving drainage systems, milling and paving approaches, and repainting steel structures. The work is part of a larger maintenance effort across southwestern Idaho to extend bridge service life and reduce future maintenance costs.

Motorists are urged to use caution in active construction zones. For real-time updates and route planning, visit 511.idaho.gov, or learn more at ITDProjects.Idaho.Gov/pages/Bridges2025.
