Driver Arrested Following Clarkston Rollover Crash

CLARKSTON, WA – There were no serious injuries following a rollover crash on 16th Avenue in Clarkson at about 2 a.m. Monday morning.

According to Asotin County Fire District #1, medics evaluated both the driver and passenger of the vehicle. Both individuals reported they were uninjured and refused medical treatment.

According to witnesses, the driver had attempted to flee Asotin County Sheriff’s Deputies after a traffic violation. The vehicle left the roadway, traveled up a steep dirt embankment, and rolled onto its top.

21-year-old Mason James Zien was booked into the Asotin County Jail early Monday morning on charges of felony eluding, DUI and reckless driving.  No other vehicles or injuries were reported.
