CLARKSTON, WA – A man was arrested Saturday evening following a reported theft at Walmart that led officers to discover drugs and drug paraphernalia in his vehicle.
While recovering the merchandise, officers discovered a case on the floorboard of the car that felt unusually heavy and appeared to be recently removed from the store. Inside, they found a large quantity of methamphetamine, along with a scale concealed inside a combination scale-calculator device, a glass pipe, and small ziplock baggies commonly used for distribution.
Fisher denied selling drugs but admitted to using the scale to avoid being “ripped off.”
The total value of the stolen merchandise was $971.05. Fisher was booked into the Asotin County Jail for Theft in the 2nd Degree and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver.
