PAUL, ID — A two-vehicle collision in southern Idaho claimed the life of a 55-year-old man from Paul on Sunday morning, according to the Idaho State Police.
The crash occurred around 11:14 a.m. at the intersection of North 600 West and West 200 North in Minidoka County. Authorities say a 2024 Ram 2500 traveling westbound failed to yield at a stop sign and struck a 1992 Ford Ranger heading south.
The driver of the Ram, a 39-year-old man from Paul, was not wearing a seatbelt and was taken to a local hospital by private vehicle. The driver of the Ford, who was also unrestrained, died at the scene.
The intersection was closed for about three hours while emergency responders worked at the scene. Idaho State Police were assisted by the Minidoka County Sheriff’s Office, Minidoka EMS, Minidoka Highway District, and LifeFlight Network.
The crash remains under investigation.
