WALLACE, ID — Shoshone County Sheriff Holly Lindsey is on a 30-day medical leave, effective until approximately July 20, according to a statement released by the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office.
The leave was described as sudden and unexpected, but officials anticipate Sheriff Lindsey will make a full and healthy return. No further details about her condition were provided, citing medical privacy.
In the meantime, Undersheriff Lance Stutzke has assumed her duties. He assured the public that the Sheriff’s Office will continue to operate without interruption.
“With the help of our great team at the SCSO, we will continue to provide the same level of service that is expected for our community,” Stutzke said in the statement.
