OKANOGAN COUNTY, WA – The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife is offering 18 hunters a rare opportunity to access the 6,000-acre Charles and Mary Eder Unit at the Scotch Creek Wildlife Area this fall.

The drawing will provide six permits each for archery, muzzleloader, and modern firearm hunts for white-tailed and mule deer. The permit application period runs from July 15 through July 31, closing at 11:59 p.m. on the final day.

The hunts will take place within Game Management Unit 204, located just east of Oroville:

No additional fees are required beyond the standard hunting license and tags. Successful applicants will receive an access permit and a boundary map by mail.
