ASOTIN, WA – The Innovia Foundation has announced more than $1.2 million in funding through its 2025 Community Grants Program, with local awards supporting projects across Asotin, Garfield, Nez Perce, Clearwater, and Lewis counties. The foundation is distributing $1,250,414 to 113 nonprofit organizations in Eastern Washington and North Idaho, prioritizing youth engagement and community wellbeing.
Grants were awarded based on recommendations from local volunteer advisory committees, focusing on education, youth development, health, arts and culture, and quality of life improvements.
Asotin County
- Asotin County Food Bank Association – $15,000 to provide weekend food packs for 228 elementary students during the school year.
- First Christian Church in Clarkston – $8,000 for the Red Door Food Kitchen.
Garfield County
- Pomeroy School District – $15,000 to rebuild the school’s music program instrument inventory.
- Pomeroy Summer Market – $5,000 to support seasonal community events.
Nez Perce County
- Willow Center, Inc. – $12,500 for Camp Erin 2025, a free grief support camp for children.
- LC Crew, Inc. – $10,000 for the Shoes for Kids program in Lewiston, Clarkston, and Asotin.
- Chief Joseph Foundation – $12,900 for horse therapy clinics for underserved youth.
- Public Health – Idaho North Central District – $15,000 to promote preventive care and community health.
Clearwater County
- Clearwater Community Complex, Inc. – $15,000 for Orofino Community Pool design efforts.
- Clearwater County Senior Citizens, Inc. – $15,000 to develop intergenerational engagement programs to reduce isolation.
- City of Kooskia – $13,000 to install ADA-accessible picnic tables and benches.
- Kids Klub Inc. – $5,704 to support summer camp programming.
- Reach Club Inc. – $14,000 to enhance preschool programming in Elk City as a foundation for academic success.
Lewis County
- River Arts Kamiah Inc. – $10,046 to support a community art center.
- Upriver Youth Leadership Council – $15,000 for the “Engage, Connect, Thrive” afterschool youth program for grades K-6.
Innovia Foundation CEO Shelly O’Quinn emphasized the organization’s continued focus on programs that support young people and strengthen community ties. “This year, we continue that legacy by funding impactful projects across our region, including programs that engage youth in community activities, strengthen relationships, and reduce isolation,” she said.
