MOSCOW, ID – The University of Idaho Auditorium Chamber Music Series (ACMS) launches its milestone 40th season this fall with four concerts spotlighting internationally renowned musicians. All concerts take place at 7:30 p.m. in the U of I Administration Building Auditorium in Moscow.

  • Thursday, Sept. 25: Lyyra
  • Thursday, Nov. 20: Jeremy Denk and Richard O’Neill
  • Friday, Jan. 23: Viano Quartet
  • Thursday, April 2: Quartetto Gelato

“We can’t wait for our audience to experience the gorgeous and rich harmonies of the all-woman vocal group Lyyra, and the extraordinary artistry of MacArthur ‘Genius’ award-winner, pianist Jeremy Denk, and multi-Grammy winning violist Richard O’Neill,” said Eneida Larti, ACMS artistic director and Lionel Hampton School of Music faculty member. “The Viano Quartet will deliver both passion and precision, and we’re thrilled to welcome back audience favorite, Quartetto Gelato, for another unforgettable evening.”

For information about each group, visit the ACMS website.

“There’s something unique and exciting this season for everyone, and I am looking forward to sharing it with our audience as we celebrate a meaningful year at ACMS,” Larti said.

Individual and series tickets are on sale at uitickets.com as well as at the Bruce M. Pitman Center box office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and at the door an hour before each concert begins.

Since 1986, ACMS has presented some of the world’s finest small ensembles in the beautiful neo-Gothic auditorium in the heart of U of I’s campus. Four ensembles visit the Palouse each year, performing for the series and enriching the region through school residencies, informal performances in community venues and master classes.
