KAHLOTUS, WA – Public crossing at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Lower Monumental Lock and Dam will be closed from July 24 – Aug. 7 due to staffing constraints.
During this period, all vehicular and pedestrian traffic across the dam will be suspended. Travelers are encouraged to plan alternate routes.
Normal crossing hours are once an hour, on the half-hour, from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday – Thursday. Public dam crossings are also available at Lower Granite Lock and Dam and Little Goose Lock and Dam.
