OROFINO, ID – A woman was injured Tuesday afternoon when a tree fell onto a moving vehicle along Harmony Heights Loop, according to the Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office.
At approximately 4:56 p.m. on July 8, emergency dispatch received a 911 call reporting the incident. Deputies responded to the scene along with Medic-1 and the Orofino Fire Department.
By the time first responders arrived, both occupants of the vehicle had exited. The driver, identified as Jacqueline Haynes, was treated on scene for injuries and later transported to the hospital by private vehicle. The condition of the passenger was not disclosed.
No further information was released about what caused the tree to fall.
