MOSCOW, ID – A high profile book about the Bryan Kohberger murder case will be released on Monday.
The former Washington State University student pleaded guilty last week in the stabbing deaths of four University of Idaho students at a Moscow rental home just off campus. Kohberger killed Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin in November of 2022. The plea agreement calls for Kohberger to receive four consecutive life sentences when he is sentenced later this month.
Bestselling author James Patterson and investigative journalist Vicky Ward have co-authored the book called “The Idaho Four An American Tragedy.” The work is based on hundreds of interviews that Ward conducted. She spoke to the victims’ families and local officials to describe the case and the people involved. The book takes a deep dive into the case and delves into the impact the slayings had on the victims’ families and friends and the Moscow/Pullman community.
The book includes accounts from longtime News Director at Pullman Radio Evan Ellis who was interviewed by Ward several times about the case. Ward will discuss the book with Ellis during the Monday Morning News on AM 1150 KQQQ. You can also listen to the interview live here http://64.131.95.13:7801/stream
