Nominations Open for Idaho Governor’s Lifetime Achievement Award in Recreation and Tourism

 

BOISE, ID – Nominations are now being accepted for the 2025 Governor’s Lifetime Achievement Award, which honors individuals who have made lasting contributions to Idaho’s recreation and tourism industries.

Governor Brad Little will select the recipient based on their outstanding impact in developing, managing, or conserving the state’s recreational resources, or in promoting Idaho tourism. The award will be presented during the annual Idaho Conference on Recreation and Tourism (ICORT), scheduled for October 20–22 at the Blue Cross Conference Center in the Mountain America Center in Idaho Falls.

The ICORT conference brings together professionals from public, private, and nonprofit sectors to exchange ideas and strategies to strengthen Idaho’s tourism and recreation sectors.

Nominations must be submitted by Wednesday, August 20, 2025. The nomination form is available at the Idaho Commerce website: 2025 Governor’s Lifetime Achievement Nomination Form.
