Warrior Women’s Golf Team Earns Third Highest GPA in NAIA

CORAL SPRINGS, FL – Lewis-Clark State College Women’s Golf achieved one of the most impressive feats in program history on Wednesday when the WGCA announced the Warrior women achieved the No. 3 team grade point average in the NAIA this season. The 2024-25 squad finished the year with a 3.820 GPA to earn its historic ranking and WGCA All-Scholar Team honors.

“I could not be prouder of our women and their extensive work in the classroom. This group cares about their academic endeavors day in and day out. In our program, we have high academic standards, and this right here is why. I am so excited to celebrate this with our women,” Coach Zach Anderson said. “I want to say thank you to each and every woman on the team for their hard and meaningful work, Chase, Dallis, Isa, Giulia, Natalia, Jane, Myah, and Mollie. Also, thank you to our professors, academic advisors, and staff that help our golfers navigate the academic year. Being a student athlete is tough, and it takes a village to succeed. Lucky for us here at LC State, we have a pretty good village.”

The Warrior women had four student-athletes earn a perfect 4.0 GPA in the spring: Giulia Belfontali, Chase Caruso, Myah Parsons and Dallis Shockey, and all student-athletes earned over a 3.5 GPA in the spring.

LC State was the lone Cascade Conference program in the WGCA’s top 10.
