PULLMAN, WA – Two local historic preservation projects in Latah County are being recognized with awards from the State of Idaho.
The Idaho Historic Preservation Commission is giving Orchid Awards to the 1912 Center in Moscow and the Mercantile Building in Deary. The award for the preservation of the former Moscow High School building is for renovation of the 2nd floor of the 1912 community center. The Deary Butcher Shop has preserved what was once the Deary Mercantile.
The projects will be recognized during the upcoming Orchid Historic Preservation Awards celebration in Boise.
