MOSCOW, ID – A 39-year-old Moscow man has agreed to plead guilty in federal court to receiving child sexual abuse material.

According to court documents, Devin Pickler has agreed to plead guilty to receiving child pornography in U.S. District Court in Idaho. This case began in July of last year when the Moscow Police Department received a CyberTip from Kik that pickler’s account received child sex abuse material.

In February of this year officers used a search warrant to seize Pickler’s digital devices which contained the illegal material. Pickler was arrested at his home in February by the Latah Regional SWAT Team and Moscow Police.

Pickler was initially charged with state counts in Latah County Second District court locally in Moscow. The U.S. Department of Justice elevated the case to federal court with an indictment in late February.

Pickler faces up to 20 years in federal prison.
