Idaho State Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Motorcyclist Who Fled in Nez Perce County

NEZ PERCE COUNTY, ID — Idaho State Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a motorcycle rider who fled from a traffic stop on Wednesday morning.

According to ISP, the incident occurred on July 23, 2025, at approximately 10:23 a.m. when a trooper attempted to stop a red Honda CM400 motorcycle traveling west on U.S. Highway 12. The rider then turned north onto Hubbard Gulch Road before abandoning the bike near the intersection of Hubbard Gulch and Stoney Point roads.

The individual fled on foot and was last seen running east into nearby farm fields. Despite a search, troopers were unable to locate the suspect.

The investigation is ongoing.
