COLFAX, WA – Whitman County Public Health is investigating two epi-linked cases of whooping cough, which puts the county back in the outbreak status, ending over 3 months of non-outbreak status.
Epi-linked means those affected got sick from the same source or exposure.
Community members are asked to contact a healthcare provider if they have been in close contact with someone who has whooping cough.
