LEWISTON, ID – The YWCA Lewiston-Clarkston is preparing for its annual school supply distribution event, set for Friday, August 15, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 300 Main Street in Lewiston. The event provides free backpacks and school supplies to hundreds of students across the LC Valley and nearby towns.
To support the effort, the YWCA is currently accepting donations of school supplies and monetary contributions. Donations are encouraged by August 4 to give volunteers time to organize and pack supplies ahead of distribution day.
Each year, the YWCA helps between 600 and 800 local students start the school year ready to learn. Community members can drop off donations at the YWCA or contribute online.
