ASOTIN, WA – At about 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, authorities reported that 70-year-old Patricia L. Murphy had been located after being reported missing earlier in the day.
Murphy was reported missing on Wednesday after last being seen leaving her residence around 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29, to run errands.
Earlier in the day, Murphy reportedly told family members she may drive to Marysville, Washington. Her grandson later reported seeing her around 3 a.m. on Wednesday, July 30, at the Jack in the Box in Lewiston. She allegedly told him she planned to drive to Othello, rest for a while, and then continue on to Marysville.
On Wednesday, the Asotin County Sheriff’s Office said Murphy had not arrived at her intended destination and was known physical and mental health issues.
Details on where she was located or her condition were not released.
