CLEARWATER COUNTY, ID – An 8-year-old boy who was reported missing Wednesday morning near Cardiff Spur has been safely located, according to the Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies and Clearwater County Search and Rescue responded at approximately 10:49 a.m. on July 30 after receiving reports that a young boy had wandered away from a rental cabin located at 36613 Highway 11. The child was last seen in the backyard of the property.

Law enforcement conducted a search of the area and located the child shortly after arrival. The boy was found in good health and did not require medical attention.

The Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office thanked all involved for their prompt response and assistance.
