MOSCOW, ID – University of Idaho fundraising has reached a new record, the university said Thursday.

The U of I raised $67.6 million for the budget year ending June 30 — topping the $52.5 million raised the previous year.

Here’s where the U of I plans to put the money:

This year’s fundraising will also support the U of I’s first endowed deanship, in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences.

The record fundraising haul coincides with another U of I milestone. In April, the U of I announced that its “Brave. Bold. Unstoppable.” fundraising campaign had reached its $500 million goal.

The decade-long campaign, which wraps up at the end of the year, has generated $514.2 million.

“The result is a stronger institution that continues providing a nation-leading, quality education at a great value to our students, world-class research and the ability to strategically support Idaho industries,” President C. Scott Green said in a U of I news release.

Boise State University announced a fundraising record in July, with 2024-25 support topping the $100 million mark for the first time.
