Idaho State Police Seek Public Help in Hit-and-Run Crash on US-95

COEUR D’ALENE, ID – Idaho State Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that occurred just after noon on Monday, August 4, 2025.

The incident took place at approximately 12:10 p.m. in the southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 95, just north of the intersection with West Prairie Avenue. According to police, a blue Dodge Dakota pickup rear-ended a vehicle, pushing it into a third vehicle before fleeing the scene.

The case is being handled by ISP District 1, which serves northern Idaho including Kootenai County.
