Innovia Foundation Awards Over $436,000 in Scholarships to Inland Northwest Students

SPOKANE, WA – The Innovia Foundation has awarded more than $436,000 in scholarships to students across Eastern Washington and North Idaho for the 2025-2026 academic year.

This year’s total of $436,089 was distributed through more than 30 scholarship programs managed by the foundation. The funds are made possible through contributions from donors who have established scholarships to support students pursuing postsecondary education and career training.

“In partnership with our generous donors, Innovia’s scholarship programs help transform the lives of students by making higher education more accessible,” said Shelly O’Quinn, CEO of Innovia Foundation. “Each year, we are proud to provide scholarship awards that make more possible for students across our region.”

Recipients represent a diverse group of high school graduates and college students with plans to enter fields such as education, business, healthcare, linguistics, esthetics, and social work. Award amounts varied, with individual scholarships ranging from a few hundred to several thousand dollars.

Some of the students recognized include:

  • Chloe Barta of Wilbur-Creston High School, who received $1,500 to pursue esthetics at Bella Rosa Skin Academy.

  • Aaron Wilcox of Sandpoint High School, awarded $1,000 to study linguistics at Boise State University.

  • Kash Coleman of Colville High School, who received $1,000 to attend the University of Montana with plans to enter the education field.

  • Rebecca Heilman of Clark Fork High School, awarded $4,500 in combined scholarships to study nursing at Lewis-Clark State College.

  • Flaviana Stutzman of Newport High School, who received $3,000 for her studies in social work at George Fox University.

  • Jakari Singleton of Reardan-Edwall High School, who was awarded $1,000 to pursue a degree in business management at Big Bend Community College.

Innovia invests over $14 million annually into the region through grants and scholarships. As the community foundation serving Eastern Washington and North Idaho, the organization partners with individuals and groups to address regional needs and create lasting impact.
