MOSCOW, ID – The 28-year-old woman recently arrested in Moscow for allegedly selling drugs has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor.
Cyra Cunningham pleaded guilty on Tuesday to possession of drug paraphernalia in Latah County Second District Court. In return for the plea, prosecutors dropped a felony narcotics delivery count. Cunningham was sentenced to 16 days in jail and credited for time already served.
She was arrested with 31-year-old Shaun Claypool by Moscow Police last month. The pair was sleeping in a car, and officers were called to check on them. Police allegedly found fentanyl pills, methamphetamine, a scale, and hundreds of dollars in cash inside the vehicle.
The felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver case against Claypool is still pending. He remains in jail and is set to be back in court next week.
