CLARKSTON, WA – The Asotin County Library and Moscow Public Library have announced that they’ll be hosting New York Times bestselling true crime author Gregg Olsen and Shasta Groene, survivor and subject of his new book, Out of the Woods: A Girl, a Killer, and a Lifelong Struggle to Find the Way Home.
The book tells the true story of the 2005 Groene family murders in rural Idaho, the abduction of Shasta and her brother, and Shasta’s decades-long journey of survival.
Their visit to the Moscow Public Library is scheduled for Saturday, August 9, at noon, with the program at the Asotin County Library scheduled for 6:00 pm the same day.
Attendees will hear directly from Shasta and Gregg Olsen and get the chance to have their books signed at the event, which is free and open to the public.
