MCCALL, ID – A 22-foot wake boat capsized on Payette Lake on Saturday, according to information released by the City of McCall.

Officials said the boat was last reported to be located near Legacy Beach.  There is concern that the boat has potential for a fuel leak, as the vessel may still contain a full tank of gas.  There were no reported injuries.

The City of McCall notified the Department of Environmental Quality and Idaho State Incident Command. Both agencies are carrying out standard procedures.

As a precaution, city crews have switched water intake from Legacy to the Davis intake station. Booms were deployed around the affected area to prevent spread from any possible fuel spill.

Officials said the situation is being monitored closely.
