CLARKSTON, WA – The Asotin County Sheriff’s Office says that deputies responded Saturday evening to a call regarding two unresponsive individuals at a residence in the 1200 block of Boston Street in Clarkston.

Upon arrival, first responders found two deceased subjects inside the home. An investigation revealed that a male subject shot a female subject before shooting himself.

Two young children and their great-grandmother, who was caring for them in another part of the residence, were unharmed. The firearm used was recovered at the scene. Authorities confirmed no other individuals were involved.

The Sheriff’s Office has not released any additional details at this time.
