LEWISTON, ID – The Independent School District No. 1 Board of Directors has scheduled its biennial director election for November 4, 2025, to fill two at-large seats. The decision was made during the board’s regular meeting on August 11.
The election will be administered by Nez Perce County and will appear on the county’s general election ballot. Board members are elected on odd-numbered years to serve six-year terms beginning January 1 following their election.
Those interested in running for a seat must be qualified electors. Candidate information, including instructions and necessary forms, is available on the district’s website at www.lewistonschools.net or in printed packets upon request.
Declaration of Candidacy and Petition of Candidacy forms may be filed with the Nez Perce County Clerk between August 18 and August 29, 2025, by 5:00 p.m. Forms can be downloaded from the district’s website or obtained at the district’s Business Services office, 3317 12th Street, Lewiston.
