COLFAX, WA – Local home prices in Washington have dipped to their lowest level so far this year.

The Whitman County Association of Realtors have released their July housing numbers.  The average price for a home sold in Whitman County last month was about 375,000 dollars.

That’s down 12,000 dollars from June but up 25,000 dollars from a year ago.  There were 52 homes on the market in July which is the most since June of 2024.  Homes were on the market for an average of two months in July which is up about a month in June.

August of last year saw the all time record high average home price in Whitman County at nearly 464,000 dollars.
