MOSCOW, ID – Someone broke into several cars in Moscow in broad daylight on Tuesday afternoon.

Moscow Police received five reports of car burglaries at two separate locations starting at 6:00. Multiple vehicles parked at the University of Idaho Arboretum in Southwest Moscow were broken into.

Additional cars at the Joseph Street Ballfields on Mountain View Road in the Northeast part of town were burglarized as well. Several items were stolen, including purses and wallets.

The burglaries were quick “smash and grab” crimes as the windows were busted out. Moscow Police believe that the car prowls are related and occurred between 5:00 and 6:30 late Tuesday.
