CLARKSTON, WA – Asotin County officials have announced that public tours of the new county jail will take place on Tuesday, August 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The jail, located at 2950 6th Avenue across from the landfill, was built with funds from the Public Safety Sales Tax Levy. The tours are intended to give residents an opportunity to see the facility and learn more about the investment made with local tax dollars.
Each tour will last about 30 minutes and will be limited to groups of 10 or fewer.
