Application Period Open For Grants To Preserve Heritage Barns In WA

SEATTLE, WA – The State of Washington is opening another round of grants to help preserve heritage barns.

The Washington Trust for Historic Preservation is accepting applications for barn grants through October 19th. The Washington Legislature allocated nearly a million dollars for the grant program.

The grants can be worth up to 75,000 dollars to help pay for barn stabilization and rehabilitation. Only designated heritage barns are eligible for the grant funding.
