ROSALIA, WA – The Rosalia Fire Department responded Tuesday to a standing grain fire along Pine City Malden Road outside of Rosalia.

First units on scene quickly began suppressing the flames, which were moving through standing grain. The fire was contained to approximately 7 acres.

A blown power line fuse was discovered in the area where the fire started. Avista responded and is investigating the cause of the fuse failure.
