LEWISTON, ID – Lewis-Clark State College has announced that three finalists for its next athletic director will visit campus between August 26–29 as part of the interview process. Community members and the general public are invited to attend presentations and meet-and-greet events with the candidates.
Each candidate will give a presentation at 4 p.m., followed by a social hour with light hors d’oeuvres from 5–6 p.m. at the Williams Conference Center. Both events are open to the public.
- Aug. 26: Jim Klemann – Currently athletic director at Rocky Mountain College, Klemann has held the position since 2021. He previously worked at the University of Jamestown from 2007–2021 in roles including assistant athletic director, director of annual giving, director of transfer admissions, and assistant baseball coach. He holds a bachelor’s degree in health and fitness administration with minors in coaching and business from Jamestown.
- Aug. 28: Raymond Pedrina – Serving as interim co-athletic director at LC State since June 2025, Pedrina was hired earlier this year as assistant athletic director of marketing and promotions. His background includes recreation leadership with the City of Lewiston Parks & Recreation and serving as athletic director for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lewis-Clark Valley. He earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise science and a minor in business administration from LC State.
- Aug. 29: Shay Wyatt – Most recently athletic director at Westminster University from 2006–2025, Wyatt has also served in leadership roles at Salt Lake City Community College, Weber State University, and Utah Valley University. He holds a bachelor’s degree in health, physical education and recreation from Bethel College and a master’s in sports administration from Wichita State University.
