LEWISTON, ID – The YWCA Lewiston-Clarkston will host Corks for a Cause, an end-of-summer fundraising event, on Thursday, August 28, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Lindsay Creek Vineyards.
The evening will feature live music by JR Lecuesta, lawn games, a silent auction, and a variety of food and drink options including wine, beer, seltzer, and non-alcoholic beverages. Lindsay Creek Vineyards will donate 10% of all food and beverage sales during the event to support YWCA programs, which provide shelter, advocacy, and resources for women and families affected by domestic violence and sexual assault.
Silent auction items will include a Wine Barrel Tasting for 10, a Stephen Lyman framed print, spa packages, homemade desserts, and more. All proceeds from the auction will go directly to the YWCA.
“This fundraiser brings the community together to support vital services for those in need,” said Victoria Scalise, YWCA’s Director of Development and Engagement. “Proceeds from the event will help ensure safety and stability for survivors in our region.”
YWCA Board President Mollie Mustoe added, “We appreciate the community’s support through events like Corks for a Cause. It helps us provide crucial services to those who need them most.”
Admission to the event is free and open to the public.
