LEWISTON, ID – The Lewiston Independent School District has announced that Amy Kronemann has been selected as the district’s 2025–2026 Elementary Teacher of the Year.
Kronemann has taught in the district for 20 years, working with first- and third-grade students. In addition to her classroom role, she has coached volleyball and basketball.
Her teaching partner of nine years described her as the “go-to person” for lesson strategies, student behavior support, and professional perspective.
Kronemann also serves as a Professional Learning Community Lead, bringing educators together, sharing best practices, and supporting colleagues.
According to the district, her leadership, kindness, and dedication to students and staff have been defining qualities of her career.
The district said Kronemann has made learning meaningful, built strong relationships, and contributed to excellence in classrooms and extracurricular activities throughout Lewiston schools.
