UNIONTOWN, WA – Someone tried to break into the ATM in Uniontown on Sunday morning. The Whitman County Sheriff’s Office responded to the attempted burglary around 7:00 Sunday morning.
Someone driving a very distinctive black Dodge Challenger tried to break into the Freedom Northwest Credit Union ATM on the South end of town on U.S. Highway 195.
The suspect was unable to access any cash and fled South on the highway. Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact the Whitman County Sheriff’s Office.
