Shoshone County Woman Accused of Armed Robbery After Spraying Victim with Bear Mace

SHOSHONE COUNTY, ID – The Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office reports that a woman has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery that took place earlier this month at a trailer park on Silver Valley Road.

Deputies say the incident occurred at 51707 Silver Valley Road, where the victim reported that Amber Eldredge forced her way into his trailer, breaking through two doors. Once inside, Eldredge allegedly sprayed the victim with bear mace before stealing a firearm and other personal items.

Following an investigation, detectives obtained a warrant for Eldredge’s arrest. Working with the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, investigators located her at a residence in Medimont. She was taken into custody without further incident.

Eldredge has been charged with robbery, burglary, battery with intent to commit a serious felony, and grand theft of a firearm. She is currently being held at the Kootenai County Jail and is expected to be extradited back to Shoshone County.
