TROY, ID – Troy Republican Colton Bennett has announced that he is running again for a local Idaho State House seat.

The conservative is seeking the post currently held by State Representative Republican Lori McCann of Lewiston. McCann defeated Bennett by 200 votes in the Republican primary last year.

Bennett is a veteran having served six years in the U.S. Army as a combat medic and was deployed overseas. He currently works as a medical assistant at Gritman Medical Center in Moscow.

The race for the post will be decided in the fall of next year following the primary election in May.
