LEWISTON, ID – The 91st annual Lewiston Roundup is set for September 3 through 6, 2025, with this year’s theme, “She’s Wild and Fun at 91!” Gates open daily at 4:59 p.m. for most events.
The event features a variety of rodeo performances, including Xtreme Bulls on September 3, sponsored by Inland Cellular; Family Night PRCA Rodeo on September 4, sponsored by Clearwater River Casino; and Tough Enough to Wear Pink on September 5, sponsored by TriState Health. Patriot Night PRCA Rodeo on September 6 is sponsored by Peters & Keatts Equipment. Gates open at 4:59 p.m. with rodeo action beginning at 6:59 p.m. each evening.
A women-focused rodeo clinic, Chicks N Chaps, will be held on Friday, September 5, sponsored by St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. The event, which opens at 1:59 p.m. with activities beginning at 2:59 p.m., gives participants hands-on experience with roping, bull riding, mounted shooting, and other rodeo skills. All proceeds support local breast cancer patients and their families. Last year, the Roundup presented a donation of $28,000 to the Gina Quesenberry Foundation.
The Lewiston Roundup is part of the Big 4 Rodeo Association, which includes the Horse Heaven Round-Up, Walla Walla Fair & Frontier Days, Lewiston Roundup, and Pendleton Round-Up. The Horse Heaven Round-Up joined the Big 4 in 2012.
Tickets are available at the Little Red Barn outside North 40 Outfitters, 2981 Thain Grade, or online at lewistonroundup.com. The Little Red Barn will be open Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Wednesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Rodeo slack, the overflow of contestants not performing in nightly events, begins Tuesday at 8:59 a.m., and spectators are welcome to watch for free.
The Lewiston Roundup Parade will take place Saturday, September 6, at 9:59 a.m. on Main Street, with lineup beginning at 7:59 a.m. Grand Marshal for the parade is Stephen Cravens. The Governor’s Cup for Best of Theme will be awarded during Saturday night’s rodeo performance.
This year’s Lewiston Roundup royalty includes Queen Cressis Holes of Grangeville High School, who plans to attend LCSC and pursue a nursing degree, and Princess Teagan King of New Plymouth, a University of Idaho pre-veterinary science student. Both have extensive experience in rodeo and horsemanship and will serve as representatives of the event.
