Still no Powerball Jackpot Winner, $1.3 Billion up for Grabs Wednesday

LEWISTON, ID – The Powerball jackpot continues its climb, now estimated at $1.30 billion for Wednesday night’s drawing. The cash value of the prize is estimated at $589.0 million.

If won, Wednesday’s jackpot would rank as the fifth largest in Powerball history and the ninth largest among all U.S. lottery jackpots.

No ticket matched all six numbers in Tuesday night’s drawing, which were white balls 8, 23, 25, 40, 53 and red Powerball 5. The Power Play multiplier was 3.

Despite no jackpot winner, 12 tickets won prizes of $1 million or more. Ten tickets matched all five white balls to win $1 million, sold in California, Florida, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey (2), New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia. Two tickets matched all five white balls and the Power Play® option, increasing their prizes to $2 million. These tickets were sold in Montana and North Carolina.

Additionally, 124 tickets won $50,000 for matching four white balls plus the red Powerball, and 25 tickets won $150,000 for matching four white balls, the Powerball, and the Power Play®.

This Wednesday’s drawing marks the 41st since the last jackpot was won in California on May 31, 2025. The longest Powerball jackpot run on record is 42 drawings, set on April 6, 2024, with a $1.326 billion jackpot winner in Oregon.

Winners of Wednesday’s jackpot will have the option of an annuitized prize estimated at $1.30 billion, paid in 30 increasing annual installments, or a lump sum payment estimated at $589.0 million, both before taxes.

Powerball tickets cost $2 per play and are sold in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. More than half of all proceeds from ticket sales remain in the state or jurisdiction where the ticket is sold. Since its inception in 1992, the Powerball game has generated more than $36 billion for various causes supported by U.S. lotteries.

Powerball drawings are held Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET from the Florida Lottery draw studio in Tallahassee, Fla., and are also live streamed on Powerball.com. The overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 24.9; the odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.
