TWIN FALLS, ID – Idaho State Police are investigating a single-vehicle fatality crash that occurred Tuesday afternoon south of Wendell.
According to ISP, the crash happened at about 4:40 p.m. on September 2, 2025, at 3084 S 1700 E. A 2000 Honda Accord, driven by a 22-year-old Wendell man, was traveling northbound at a high rate of speed when it lost control, left the roadway, and struck a power pole.
The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene.
All lanes on S 1700 E have been blocked for about eight hours and will remain closed as crews replace utilities in the area.
The incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
