PULLMAN, WA – Washington State University has been ranked No. 139 overall in Forbes’ America’s Top Colleges list for 2025–26. Among public universities nationwide, WSU placed 58th.

Forbes evaluated 500 U.S. colleges using criteria such as graduation rates, student debt, alumni salary, and return on investment. WSU enrolls more than 27,000 students across six campuses in programs including engineering, business, and social sciences.

The rankings, which emphasize student outcomes and financial impact, placed WSU within the top 150 colleges in the country.
