LEWISTON, ID – Lewis-Clark State College will host its annual Fall Frenzy and Family Weekend from September 22 through 28, offering a full slate of activities for students, families, alumni, and community members.
Family Weekend, scheduled for September 26–28, begins with Warrior FanFest on Friday, September 26, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. The event will be held between the P1FCU Activity Center and Harris Field and will include games, face painting, poster making, live music, food, and poster signing. Attendees will also have the chance to win free admission to that evening’s Warrior volleyball match against Eastern Oregon University at 6 p.m.
On Saturday, September 27, the day starts with Pastries with the President at 9:30 a.m. outside the Student Union Building/Center for Student Leadership. At 10:30 a.m., participants can take part in the Color Run & Walk, which begins at the SUB/CSL and winds through campus. Admission is $5, with proceeds benefiting LC State Student Involvement programs. Participants will be splashed with color powder along the route. Sparklight is serving as the start/stop sponsor for the run.
Later that evening, LC State volleyball faces the College of Idaho in the P1FCU Activity Center. The match will feature 1K Day, a challenge to draw 1,000 fans, with prizes awarded if the goal is met. The event also coincides with Elementary School Night, where one elementary student and a parent will receive free admission with a school-issued flyer. P1FCU, the match sponsor, will provide giveaways, and group tickets are available for $2 each for groups of 10 or more.
Leading up to Family Weekend, Fall Frenzy activities will include Shopping Cart Races, Warriors Got Talent, Thursday Night Football & Bingo, Yard Games & Craft Night, and a pep rally. The events are open to students, faculty, and staff. Sparklight is the presenting sponsor of the week’s activities.
