EAGLE, ID – Police in southern Idaho are investigating a kidnapping that occurred in the Eagle foothills early Friday morning.
According to the Eagle Police Department, Star Police were initially dispatched around 2:00 a.m. on September 5 after an adult male reported to Ada County Dispatch that he had been kidnapped earlier that evening. The incident was determined to have taken place near Highway 16 in the Eagle foothills, and Eagle Police took over the case.
Detectives learned the victim had been lured to the location under the false pretense of a photography session. When he arrived, he was restrained and battered.
The suspect, 22-year-old Steen Lamb, was arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail on a felony charge of second-degree kidnapping. Police said the suspect and victim knew each other.
The investigation is ongoing.
