WASHINGTON, D.C. – President Donald J. Trump has ordered U.S. flags to be flown at half-staff through sunset on September 14, 2025, in memory of Charlie Kirk.
The presidential proclamation directs that flags be lowered at the White House, all public buildings, military posts, naval stations, and vessels throughout the United States and its territories. The order also extends to U.S. embassies, consular offices, and other government facilities abroad.
The announcement was shared Wednesday by the Office of the Governor of Idaho, following guidance from the White House.
