LEWISTON, ID– The Downtown Lewiston Artwalk will return October 3–4, 2025, with its largest program to date, featuring more than 50 artists and over 30 participating businesses. Organizers say the two-day festival will showcase the strongest collaboration yet between local businesses and the creative arts community.

The event, free to the public and supported by the Lewiston Chamber of Commerce, will highlight live performances, cultural celebrations, family activities, and interactive art opportunities across downtown Lewiston.

The Artwalk launches Friday evening from 5 to 9 p.m. with local businesses transforming into galleries. Opening ceremonies include a performance by the Nimmipuu Tribe at 5:30 p.m. in the courtyard of the Lewis Clark Hotel. Visitors can watch demonstrations such as lace making with the Appaloosa Lace Guild, bronze sand casting by Kassie Smith, and exhibitions at the Center for Arts & History. Entertainment continues with pop-up shows by LC State Dance & Cheer and fire performances by the Palouse Flow + Fire Collective beginning at 8 p.m. on New Sixth Street.

Saturday’s schedule runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and features family-focused programming. Art demonstrations, aerial displays from the Gem State Flyers, and performances from LC State Dance & Cheer will be spread across the festival area. The Lewiston City Library, the Center for Arts & History, and Brackenbury Square will host hands-on art stations for children and families.

Special competitions include the STAR Business Scavenger Hunt, which runs throughout both days, and the LC Art Club’s Cardboard Sculpt-off on Saturday from 11 a.m. to noon. Teams of three will build sculptures using duct tape and box knives, followed by People’s Choice judging. The festival concludes with a Sidewalk Costume Parade led by LC State Drama Club at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, with prizes awarded in Brackenbury Square.

“This event demonstrates the strong collaboration between our local business community and creative arts scene,” said Tobe Finch, chairman of the LC Valley Chamber Board.

The Artwalk is presented with the support of title sponsor Silvercreek Realty Group: Team B.M.C., along with The Diamond Shop, St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Clearwater River Casino, and The Daily Fly.
