The free, family-friendly stroll will include information about the preserve’s history, local plants, trees, and wildlife that call Idler’s Rest home.

Participants may have the opportunity to sample seasonal treats from the historic orchard.

The casual walk aims to help community members connect with nature while learning about the preserve located at 1187 Idlers Rest Road.

Dogs are welcome to join their families for the event.

Donations are welcome and support the care and maintenance of the nature preserve.
