U‑Pick Pumpkins, Harvest Festival Return to WSU’s Eggert Organic Farm

PULLMAN, WA – The WSU Eggert Family Organic Farm is hosting their annual u-pick pumpkin sales from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 27 and Oct. 4. The Sept. 27 sale also features a one-day Harvest Festival.

The festival is free and includes a corn maze, games, face-painting, and other activities. The corn maze is new this year and located next to the pumpkin patch. Pumpkin pies, donuts, and cider will be available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting WSU’s Organic Agriculture Club. The pumpkins for the pies are donated by the farm and baking is donated through a partnership with WSU Residential Dining.

The Harvest Festival, Sept. 27, will include a corn maze, games, face-painting, and other activities.

The farm is located on Animal Science Rd., behind the WSU Bear Research, Education, and Conservation Center on the Pullman campus.

More details are available on the farm’s website or on Facebook.  Pumpkins are all pre-priced and can be purchased after picking on site.

The farm stand will also be open during the u-pick sale with a wide selection of fall crops including: potatoes, shallots, carrots, winter squash, beets, ornamental corn, garlic, and greens.

For food safety, no pets allowed.

Cards are preferred for purchase of produce. Cider and pumpkin pie purchases can be made using cash, check, or Venmo.
