Recovering Shooting Victim Identified as WSU Football Lineman, Suspect Still at Large

PULLMAN, WA – The recovering victim in the Sunday morning shooting has been identified as a WSU football player, as the search continues for the suspect.
The shooting suspect, 20 year old Jakori Buchanan, is still at large and is considered armed and dangerous. Buchanan allegedly shot 19-year-old Sone Falealo at the Aspen Heights apartment complex around 2:00 Sunday morning and now has a first-degree assault warrant.
According to The Spokesman-Review, Falealo is a freshman offensive lineman at WSU. He is expected to make a full recovery.
The vehicle that Buchanan used to flee was found to be a rental car. It was returned at SeaTac in Western Washington.
Buchanan is from the Puget Sound area and is a black male, 5’7″ and 143 pounds. Anyone who knows his whereabouts is asked to contact the Pullman PD.
